Dawn & Chris {she said yes}

Banner Elk |  When Dawn requested a Winter engagement session, I had a few things in mind: snow, skiing, and some fun wintery clothes  We were thrilled that Dawn and Chris were willing to go up to the mountains with us. Despite the below freezing temperature, (it seriously was 13 degrees) the day we had chosen to go up was perfect; it had just snowed and it was sunny. They were so great, they handled the cold without any complaints, and were so photogenic! For the first part of the session, we photographed them around our hotel, Alpen Inn. For the second part of the session, we went up to Beech Mountain, and got some action shots of them skiing, as well as got a few runs in on the snowboard alongside them. This has been an amazing session: an awesome couple, the mountains, fresh snow, cool temperatures, and winter sports. We have truly enjoyed this opportunity to be a special and unique part of their lives and getting to know them. We are thrilled to be working with them over the upcoming months!

And on to part 2…hitting the slopes for some skiing action!
