She exceeded my expectations in every way

Dianne was the absolute BEST investment we made for our wedding. We did 3 photoshoots with her- an engagement session, the wedding and I did a bridal/trash the dress afterwards. She exceeded my expectations in every way. I am very picky about photography, I hate the “stand and cheese” type photos so when we first met with Dianne I wanted to make sure that we got good “in the moment” photos. The photos are well polished, creative and overall stunning high quality. She is incredibly professional and easy to work with as well. She is prompt to return emails and phone calls and is flexible in meeting times and dates. She got well placed and wonderful pictures without being pushy, our entire bridal party and family loved her! I honestly can not say enough about how good the entire experience has been. I am very much looking forward to continuing to work with Dianne and have her capture our lifetime moments.

Dianne was absolutely the perfect choice for our photographer for our 9/29/18 Charlotte wedding. With so many choices of photographers, we didn’t know where to begin when choosing. My fiancé and I attended our first and only bridal show soon after our engagement and my fiancé (who knows a bit about photography, himself) was immediately impressed with Dianne’s portfolio. We were thrilled to discover that they also offered photography services for as long as we needed them on the day of the wedding. In time, Dianne took our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner photos, and photos on the day of our wedding. At the engagement photo shoot, she made what could have been a slightly awkward photo shoot totally comfortable. She encouraged us to be ourselves, not trying to put us in forced positions, but wanting the photos to capture who we truly were together. On the day of our wedding, both Dianne and her husband Todd were incredible as they took getting reading picture, wedding party pictures, family pictures, and candid pictures during the ceremony and reception. Both were professional, fun, organized, and easygoing (something that is very important on the day of the wedding!) throughout the entire process, and we highly recommend them. We are so excited to get back what I know will be amazing photos of the best day of our life.

I am beyond thrilled to get to write a review for Dianne, as she deserves all of the praise and all of the business. She was a perfect addition to our wedding crew and never made us feel like our space was being imposed on. She was very respectful of our needs and made sure to get all of the pictures we requested. I wanted to enjoy myself without having to worry about getting all of the pictures in by the end of the night. From the minute my husband and I met Dianne and her husband, Todd, in the Fall of 2011, we knew we had found someone with incredible talent and the personality to make you feel perfectly at ease in front of the camera. Dianne and Todd are also willing to try some really neat things to get the unique photos we were looking for – we all went skiing for our engagement pictures! It was freezing cold outside, but the photos that came out of our weekend were AMAZING. I can not say enough good things about Dianne. My husband and I met with several wedding photographers before choosing Dianne and from the moment we met her, we knew she was the one we were looking for! We were lucky enough to have Dianne photograph our engagement session and wedding day. She did not disappoint for either one. She did an amazing job capturing our whole wedding day and every emotion we felt. Our pictures are better than we could ever imagine! Dianne and her husband Todd are so fun to work with and were laid back on the wedding day. Which made everyone feel comfortable. Before our wedding, Dianne met me at our church and reception venue to scope out picture spots. She was responsive to emails and listened to everything we wanted in our pictures. She is AMAZING and we will cherish these photos forever! We would love to be able to work with Dianne again in the future!

 

She was literally the only vendor that made my bridal experience less stressful…she went out of her way to get to know my husband and I on a personal level

Dianne was the photographer for both my engagement pictures, and my wedding day. On my wedding day, my husband and I had the pleasure of working with both Dianne and her husband, Todd. I can’t explain just how amazing they both are. First of all, photography in general can be quite expensive. You really get what you pay for. Working with Dianne was so great because her base package included pretty much everything that a bride-to-be needs, so you won’t have to dish out extra money with ridiculous add-ons. I spoke with so many photographers, but Dianne’s package was the most reasonable given all that she offers.

Being a bride, you can tend to get very frustrated with the poor communication from vendors, but with Dianne, I never had that issue. She was literally the only vendor that made my bridal experience less stressful. She was always prompt with emails and always more than willing to meet or answer any questions that I had. I also really liked that she went out of her way to get to know my husband and I on a personal level. That made us feel comfortable and not feel camera shy during our photo sessions.

Dianne was so great at helping me find locations for the actual pictures. I drove her crazy with emails and questions but she was always so helpful and more than willing to answer any questions that I had. My wedding day was very stressful, but having her there as my photographer calmed me down and I just trusted her because she truly looks out for the best interest of her clients. Her husband Todd is also super fun to work with. Our pictures came out amazing and looked so natural. The discs with our pictures also came out fairly quick.

For our engagement session, that day just so happened to be ridiculously windy. I was very discouraged and worried that our pictures would come out terrible. To my surprise, Dianne worked with us to the best of her ability and we were in true shock at how great our pictures came out. Another great thing is that on our wedding day, we had almost 1,300 pictures, so you could literally watch the entire day from the beginning to the end without a video. They provided so many pictures, which was so nice.

We thank Dianne from the bottom of our hearts and I will never go with any other photographer for future events. She was the best decision that I made for the wedding. We LOVED working with Dianne!

 

Extremely professional and incredibly talented

Joe and I were extremely lucky to have found Dianne.  Not only was her photography creative, it captured our Wedding Day perfectly.  Dianne made sure to capture every little detail for us, from the wedding dress to the table decorations.  Our Wedding was a combination of old fashioned-Catholic ceremony to Uptown-modern reception, and Dianne had no problem morphing her style to both.  She and Todd were very personable, friendly, knowledgeable and professional as they really cared about our special day and made sure it was smooth and enjoyable.  We have over 2000 beautiful pictures to choose from and enjoy for the rest of our lives.  Thank you both!!!!

Dianne and her husband are incredible!!! She met with me prior to booking so show me some of her work then several times leading up to the wedding to be sure we covered the timeline, poses, etc. Our engagement session was amazing and she was willing to photograph any special poses we wanted. She and her husband made a day trip 3.5 hours away to shoot our wedding! They were so flexible with our quick rain shower and kept the beautiful photos going. They were so great at giving us time to ourselves but snagging us to grab the great lighting at sunset. It was never awkward or uncomfortable. Her work is INCREDIBLE!! I cannot say enough about Dianne! If you are anywhere close to Charlotte, you MUST get her to photograph your wedding! We will definitely use her for family photos down the road!

 

She definitely made my bridal experience unique to my personality, and I got one of a kind photos.

My husband and I had a very unique wedding style that we were looking for and Dianne Personett Photography was the absolute best choice. They were able to take cute traditional style wedding photos for my family, but also take edgy, comic book style photos to go along with the wedding theme. I booked her for engagement and bridal photos as well, and she was open to all sorts of crazy ideas. She definitely made my bridal experience unique to my personality, and I got one of a kind photos.

Dianne more than exceeded my expectations for our wedding photographer. Entering into the planning process, our photographer was our number one priority. We knew regardless of the type of wedding we had, the pictures would be how we remembered the most special day of our lives. They were extremely helpful and supportive

Phenomenal! We had Dianne do our engagement and wedding day photos and we were very happy with everything. They did our engagement photos in what felt like slightly above freezing early in the morning, and they were extremely helpful and supportive, even with our dog tagging along for the pictures. We are awaiting our photos for our wedding day (it was only last week, they have a great turn-around time for the finished products) but on the day they took so many pictures, offered fantastic suggestions and were very supportive of whichever photos we wanted. Would definitely recommend!!

The photos really captured the essence of our relationship and our personalities

Dianne was awesome! Before deciding on Dianne, we were going through some conflicts with another photographer. After things were settled with the other photographer, time was short. Only a little over a month before the wedding! Dianne was so understanding and reassuring. She worked quickly with us to finalize plans for our wedding day.

Dianne was very efficient, professional, and dedicated throughout the whole process and she really worked hard to capture every part of our wedding day. For example, after Dianne had already said she was leaving for the night, a family member spontaneously wanted to hoist us on chairs. We saw Dianne run back in to make sure she was able to capture that moment. When we got our photos back, those pictures were among our favorites!

The photos really captured the essence of our relationship and our personalities. On the morning of our wedding day, we were unable to get our planned prep room for the bridal party but Dianne improvised and we still got some amazing photos. We got our photos back in a very timely manor and Dianne even returned some of our photos early so that we could use them in our thank you cards.

We would love to have Dianne as our photographer again and we definitely recommend Dianne Personett Photography for anyone looking for a great, professional, and dedicated photographer.
