Melissa & Court {ever after}

Wrightsville Beach | We were SO excited when Melissa and Court had us photograph their wedding. Honestly, the beach is a place that I always enjoy and love, so combining the ocean with photography and a beautiful couple, it made for a wonderful weekend! Melissa and Court  are such a down to earth and fun couple. We hit it off with them right away; Melissa is so full of life and passion and we truly enjoyed capturing this special day for her. The weather cooperated so perfectly. The day before there was a HUGE storm, but the skies cleared up for their big day. They were married on the beach, with the ocean view in the background, and the reception was held at Shell Island Resort. Another great thing about their wedding is that the decided to do a first look. Because of this, we were able to get all kinds of great photos of just the two of them, with different backgrounds and poses. I still recommend this for all brides! I also was impressed with all the details set up at the reception. It was truly a beach wedding with their ‘sand castle’ cake created by Carolina Cakes and Confections, shell centerpieces and even a treasure chest for their gifts. We could not have asked for a better day or couple!
