Winston-Salem | I was thrilled to hear from Ashley, just a few months before her wedding. We know each other from high school, and I just love how wedding photography brings people back together. It has been so wonderful to see her again, after all these years, and I am just elated for her and Kevin. They are so in love, and it’s been a pleasure getting seeing the two of them together, and being part of their wedding day.
They chose to have a small, intimate wedding. They had a beautiful ceremony at Home Moravian Church in Old Salem (photography was off-limits during the service). Ashley and Kevin got ready at the stunning Graylyn Estate, and it’s where they also enjoyed their reception. We spent some time taking bridal portraits of Ashley and I absolutely LOVED her dress, lace, wrap and hair piece. Graylyn Estate (and a Rolls Royce) provided the perfect “Downton Abbey” backdrop for an absolutely stunning bride! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to end the 2012 season.
